A concentrated product that is EPA-Registered and formulated specifically for use in HVACR systems and duct work, including fogging and spraying.

Instructions for HVAC Systems

  • As required by the EPA, the treated area must be evacuated prior to the application. Once the area has been treated, the area should be ventilated and allowed to air for on hour before repopulating. No one other then applicator should be allowed in work area during treatment.
  • To ensure absolute duct sanitation, the system must be mechanically cleaned, vacuumed, or blown free of dust, mold, soil debris prior to using Oxine-HVAC.
  • Cover all air vents with filter media and use drop cloths around work areas, as this product may fade some fabrics.

Application Method 1

  • Spray of fog Oxine-HVAC into duct work, coils, drain pan and grills. For best coverage, access system at each vent, or cut access holes for longer runs. When fogging utilize the Nu-Calgon Bio-Fresh Fogger (Part Number 4693-0) To insure adequate coverage place system under postive pressure with system fan.

Application Method 2

  • Place system under negative pressure with duct vac. Spray or fog Oxine-HVAC into duct work, coils, drain pay and grills. For best coverage, access system at each vent, or cut access holes for longer runs.

Toxicity and Safety

  • One of Oxine-HVAC's trademark qualities is its low toxicity and safety rating of the EPA. Rated as a Category III, Oxine HVAC does not leave an active chemical residue, and quickly degrades to simple table salt.
  • Oxine-HVAC does not use an propellants or flammable ingredients, enhancing its safety qualities.
  • Oxine-HVAC is a no rinse product, making it very easy to apply. Once Oxine-Havc is applied, it dries leaving the system virtually residue-free.

Application Method

  • Oxine-HVAC should be applied by the applicator wearing a NIOSH / MSHA approved respirator with a
  • Organic Vapor / Acid Gas Cartridge
  • Secure proper respiratory and eye wear protection prior to activation.
  • Pour 3.25 fl. oz of Oxine concentrate into a suitable one-gallon mixing container
  • Mix and let stand for 5 minute before dilution
  • Prepare solution in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing fumes that may be produced while crystals are dissolving
  • After mixing, add one gallon of clean water to the activated Oxine-HVAC. Dilution ratio is 1:40. Final use dilution is 500 ppm. Each gallon will treat 1,000-1,500 linear feet of duct surface. Mixed solution is good for up to one week when stored in a closed container away from direct sunlight.
