Pan Pads

A revolutionary package-design of a product formulated especially to eliminate the build-up of bacteria and slime growths in the air conditioning and refrigeration condensate drain pans. Combats a broad spectrum of harmful bacteria, including Legionella. Available in 4 sizes: 5 ton, 5 ton slim, 15 ton and 45 ton. All will provide adequate treatment for up to nine months.

Application

Air conditioning and refrigeration evaporator or cooling coils cool the air that is brought across them. In the process, moisture can be removed from the air, resulting in condensate. This condensate is collected in the condensate pan and drained away. Without proper treatment, bacteria can begin to grow in the pan, clogging the drain hole and resulting in overflow. This bacteria can also cause musty odors as well as respiratory ailments. Use of Pan-Pads kill this bacteria, preventing these problems.
