HD CalClean^® Electronic Cell Cleaner

HD CalClean is a ready-to-use version of the famous Special HD CalClean. It is a liquid detergent containing surface-active agents, grease solvents, alkaline cleaners, corrosion inhibitors and water conditioners specifically designed for cleaning electronic air filters. Electronic air filters can become coated with tobacco tars and other deposits that are very difficult to remove with ordinary detergents. HD CalClean will rapidly clean dirt, grease, dust and tars from the plates on these filters and, it will not corrode or tarnish aluminum or other metals when used at the recommended concentrations.

In addition, it can also be used to clean evaporator coils, air-cooled condensers and permanent air filers that are soiled and difficult to get clean wit other detergents.

Special Features

Use HD CalClean for maximum cleaning.

Evaporator coils and Air-cooled condensers. The build-up of greasy dirt on air-conditioning or refrigeration cooling coils and on air-cooled condensers makes the units work harder. Impeded air flow and poor heat transfer can put a severe strain on both the equipment and the pocket-book. This dirt is often drawn from the cooling (or heating) coils into the air-stream and subsequently into the critical areas where it covers everything with a layer of dust. Using HD CalClean is an easy yet effective way to clean this equipment.

Heating coils. Finned heating coils of heaters coated with dirt cut down on heat transfer. Using HD CalClean is the easy, low-cost way to clean finned coils.

Window units. Dirty window units are easily cleaned without damage to paint. Note: Wrap fan motor with plastic sheet before spraying with HD CalClean.

Electronic Air Cleaners. Electronic cleaners are troubled with more difficult-to-remove deposits like nicotine tars. Since Special HD CalClean was specifically designed to remove this type of soil or deposit, use of HD CalClean is the easiest, simplest approach.

Application

HD CalClean is easy to use, just spray it on. It quickly reacts with caked-on greasy dirt and smoke tar residues, loosening them and making them water soluble and easy to rinse off. Dirt and grease are flushed away effortlessly with an ordinary hose. If no water connection is available, fresh water may be sprayed on with any of the Nu-Calgon sprayers. Equipment will be left clean and ready to operate at top efficiency.
